‘Folk and Flowers’ is the live music theme this Sunday, 22 September. Melbourne band 'Tinpan Orange' will combine with local favourite 'Ruby Boots' live on the main stage. If swing is more your scene, join us on Sunday, 29 September for the sassy sounds of 'Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys', and 'Cottontail Trio and The Supper Club' to wrap up the 2013 Kings Park Festival in style. Floral makeover for Australian classic
We’re not the only birthday kid in town - the EH Holden also turns 50 in 2013. As a combined birthday treat, come and enjoy their display of amazing vintage EH Holden cars against the backdrop of Kings Park’s river views on Sunday, 29 September. Fantastic Faraway Festival
The 'Fantastic Faraway Festival' (formerly Wild Fairyland Festival) promises to be a fun-filled kid’s day out on Saturday, 21 September. The Lotterywest Family Area will be full of great activities for all ages and stages, including magicians, circus shows, face painting, adventure games, pony and camel rides and a scavenger hunt. Friends of Kings Park native plant sale
The famous Friends of Kings Park native plant sale will be held Saturday, 28 – Monday, 30 September. Choose from a wide range of native plants, including unusual species not available in commercial nurseries. Special gardening workshops will also be on offer during the sale to get your home garden looking spectacular. All plants are lovingly cultivated by the Friends of Kings Park.
