Fitness training changes in Kings Park

Organised commercial fitness groups and sporting events coordinators are advised of recent changes to the conditions of use. Calling all festive knitters!

A yarn-bombed wheelbarrow.To celebrate the 50th birthday of the Kings Park Festival in September, we are colouring Kings Park and ‘yarn bombing’ the Foundation Stone in the State Botanic Garden. In keeping with the spirit of this annual community event, the Kings Park Festival team invite all knitters to submit a square to the cause. For knitting criteria, visit the website or contact a Customer Service Officer. We thank them for their continued support and commitment to children’s natural learning. The Kings Park Education centre also celebrated its first year of operation on Wednesday, 5 June, World Environment Day, which has welcomed almost 15,000 Western Australian school children since opening.
